Normally the reliever will bring a timesheet with them to record their hours of work.
This page describes the 5 different types of timesheet we use, and allows you to open, print, or download our ordinary timesheet used for unqualified relievers.
You can open and print this timesheet here Reliever timesheet. To keep a copy off-line you can right-click and choose "save link/target as" to download the file.
The use of the above timesheet indicates that our lower charge rate is applicable (for unqualified, and partly-qualified relievers). The same charge rate applies for relievers who are qualified but without a current registration certificate, but there is a different pay rate, so a different timesheet is used.
If a different type of timesheet is needed for a particular reliever, please phone us: 623-6236, and we can email or fax it to you.
| Types of timesheet: | Notes | Which charge rate applies? |
| Unqualified or partly qualified reliever | Link above | Lower charge rate |
| Qualified but not registration certificated reliever | Note 1 | |
| NZ recognised primary teaching qualified, and certificated | Note 2 | Higher charge rate |
| EC qualified with lapsed certificate, and re-application conditions met | Note 2 | |
| Early-childhood qualified and certificated | Note 3 |
Note 1
Some of our uncertificated relievers hold a recognised early childhood diploma or degree. There is no extra charge if your centre uses these relievers to meet the 50% qualified staff requirement. A reliever in their final year of training could also help you meet the 50% qualified staff requirement.
Note 2
These relievers are qualified for funding purposes, but not able to be person responsible.
Note 3
These relievers are qualified for all purposes.
